The PowerTap SL+ is smaller and 160 grams lighter. It features a new electronics package that's housed completely within the hub shell. It sends the data through carbon fiber windows, keeping moisture away from sensitive components.

Hub weighs a mere 416 grams.
Available in either Shimano or Campagnolo Alloy freehub body.
130mm or 135mm Axle Spacing.
24, 28, 32 Hole Huds or w complete ready to use wheel.

Power SL+Tap Hub System

Torque and wheel speed are measured within the hub. The information is then transmitted via digital radio frequency to a receiver mounted on the seatstay or chainstay of a bicycle which is wired to a handlebar-mounted cycle computer. The computer makes the calculations necessary to display a variety of power functions as well as all the standard cycle computer and heart rate functions.

The Power SL+ Tap Standard Hub System features storage and recall for nine discrete, non-overlapping intervals. While doing an effort, you can capture the average and maximum power, speed, heart rate, and cadence as well as total time, distance, and energy expenditure. The PowerTap SL+ystem Hub is currently available in the Road (130mm) version and Mountain (135mm spacing).
